  1. Of course not.  There are laws that limit the time you have for such legal actions.  


  2. statute of limitations is 7 years. amazingly they say that your body rebuilds it self cell by cell every 7 years! usually a bone that is not set properly ends up being stronger than before because it is wider in the area that it overlaps.-blurey

And you think the doctor responsible for it is still alive??  Honestly, you've lived with it for fifty years, so I think you will be hard pressed to get anything for damages.  I also think the statute of limitations would have long ago run out on this.  But if you look hard enough, I'm sure you can find a lawyer who won't die laughing, who will be glad to take your money and file the suit.
