Recycling the tablet container would be difficult?

Please Tell me 2 or if you can 3 reasons.?

for the most part, these are #5 plastics and most municiple recycling plants do not have the equipment to recycle this type of plastic (they pretty much recycle up to #4).

nothing to do with trace chemicals from pills. that's silly. it's all to do with the chemicals of the plastic bottle.

Empty tablet containers contain traces of the medicine. To clean it is  1. difficult

2. expensive

3. dangerous for the recycling company because they can be exposed to expensive law suits.
