Can you suggest any resto in LA for a birthday dinner?

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I need suggestions where we can have a nice dinner. Doesn't have to be super fancy. Great food and ambiance are a must. Thank you!

The Grand Lux. It has a very nice atmosphere. Food is Fab and it is connected to the Beverly Center (Shopping Mall in Beverly Hills) It's not super expensive ($13 to $20) with large portions. Check it out. I believe the only other one is in Chicago
