I am 27, serving in Indian Army. I would like to continue my further studies. MY present qualifications is BSc in Maths, Statistics and Computer Science. I received a mail from Rayat London College, London for one year MBA programme. May I be permitted to do job in London after completion of MBA course.

  1. Yes, its a good opportunity for you. But i don't think that MBA would help you in future. The reason being is, you are from Science. I mean BSc. You should be trying for MSc then probably for Phd, etc.

MBA is beneficial for those guys who are from Engineering field. Thats what my opinion is.

  2. According to your current qualifications, it seems that you are quite good with statistics.. so why not consider Actuary as a profession rather than an MBA.

Actuary is a very well paid occupation and you should really consider it if you are good with numbers.. try the links below to find out more..

For an MBA it only helps if you have done it from a good university / college and to be honest i dont know if Rayat London college is very good one.

Search for the colleges approved for the new HSMP MBA provision if you really want to do an MBA and then work in the UK.. (HSMP is highly skilled migrant programme - type of work permit)

To work in London after completing your studies, you'll need work permit so it again is a bit tricky..

The other questions that i would consider asking is, is it feasible for you to leave your current job and consider studying at this age (i mean the mind set that we have not only the physical age)..
