Can you suggest places for my friend to go to?

My friend is travelling to Baroda, India for a year as an intern in a company. I want to suggest places for him to visit or hang out. Do you have any suggestions? Do you know how much it would cost him to buy a sandwitch from McDonald's or visit a museum or take a cab or buy food to cook at home or how much renting a room would cost?

dont know hang out places in baroda other than malls and movie theatres.  sandwich/burger costs 50 odd rupees and a meal costs under 100 rs. cabs would be around 12 rs a km and rent would be around 2000 if he wants a PG type acco.
