  1. Kantian, as far as it relates to mathematics and as far as it doesn't, is really a way of describing the way the human mind perceives the world.  

    Kant makes a strict distinction between what "actually is" (he called this the "noumenal") and what the human mind is capable of perceiving (what he calls the "phenomenal.")  In this sense, Kant is the first major Enlightment philosopher to shape the topos of human understanding as severely limited in several senses - i.e., he noticed that what we notice/perceive isn't always what is "the case."
