  1. not even posible only when your wakeboarding but thats not surfing

  2. that will be wasting your time to try and surf those boat waves but you can go wake surfing. its really fun because its like a never ending wave. hope tis helps

  3. I don't think so, boats waves are only about 1 inch. You can wake surf behind a boat or wakeboard though.

  4. Yes there is a type of board that you use! you get up like a normal wake board and then let go of the rope and surf down the boat waves and the boat goes like 5 mph! the board is like the same lenght of a wake board!

  5. I have done this so it is possible. It isn't like surfing good waves but if you are desperate then what options do you have :)

  6. yes it is possible but u need a big boat with a big wake.  on a long board you could deff catch a wave.  it many be only a 2 sec ride though

  7. Haven't seen it with a long board but have seen done -sort of-  on a short board,I say soet of because it looked a bit like wake boarding, only not as intense.....try it out and get back to me

  8. Yes, boat wake/waves traveling though fresh water are surfeable, however, you need to bear in mind that the boat will need to be extremely large and heavy so that it will create a large enough wake,  Also as fresh water is not as dense as salt water, your surfboard will need to have some extra buoyancy to offset for the less dense water.

The boat will also need to be fairly close to where you will be catching the wake so that the wake does not experience too much decay on its journey to your surfboard.
