  1. Meat is the only food group you can live off solely.

  2. You can for a certain time, but the lack of neutrients would starve you.

  3. I'd say yes but life would be very dull

  4. No for sure........... Our bodies need certain chemicals and compounds to function correctly. The lack of vitamins and minerals from just bread and water would render you a useless wreck within a year. You would be more susceptible to infections and diseases and your bones would become brittle, meaning you couldn't move. You would also suffer from muscle atrophy and eventually die. Death would more than likely come from an infection as your skin would lose the ability to heal itself.

  5. sure. your nutrition would suffer...so you may not live up to today's life expectancy age, but you could live a long life.

  6. Of course you can, but you will not be healthy.

There are fruitiarians such as d**k Gregory that eat nothing but fruit...

all your body needs to survive is anytime of edible food and water, but again due to lack of nutrients you will be severely malnutritioned.

Think of it this way some mothers nurse their babies 1-2 years... and some only start attempting to give them other things besides only milk by the the age of 6-9 months.

The milk has everything the baby needs so it survives... however due to the growing of the baby to toddler and later of an adult it must learn to feed itself.

ergo technically even if you were to eat the bread and added all the nutrients to the bread and water you still could live a healthy life.

Food simply is an 'attractive' holder of nutrients you need to keep you healthy and it does not matter what kind of package it is.

  7. no you cant as you need a wide range of nutrients and vitamins that you dont find in just bread and water alone

it would be anything upto a month before your health really suffered to the point where you would need medical intervention

  8. It depends on the bread.  Good ole American white bread - no way.  Whole grain bread with soy flour and nuts - maybe.  By the way - fruitarians do not just eat fruit - they eat things that fall to the ground - this includes some nuts and grains.

  9. For awhile..you would eventually get sick from malnutrition and your ability to ward off illness would be extremely weak. Although you may not die from starvation it would certainly be the factor that caused the illness that kills you.

  10. No, I am sure you cannot. maybe for a little while. but after a while you will suffer from malnourishment and die slowly.

  11. For a limited time, cuz of the lack of nutrients you're getting! You could if it was only bread, water, and vitamins!

  12. Depends on how you define "natural death". You don't get enough necessary nutrients from just bread (even if it's whole wheat /multi-grain) to have a healthy lifestyle. So may eventually die from malnutrition, but it would be a "natural death" in that it wouldn't be accidental...

You'd probably still live for a long time though. You'd get bored of the limited diet. You might die of boredom first. Is that a "natural" death??

  13. No, you need protein!

Bread has carbs, fiber and calories but we also need protein.

Which bread does not have enough!

  14. no

bc bread doesnt have enough nutrition in it to sustain a human being for long. i mean, u can def live on bread and water, but not for long

  15. no. At least you wouldnt be healthy. You need proteins vitamins calcium and a lot of stuff that bread and water don't have

  16. no human diets require many other things bread other gives us carbohydrates and much else, on this diet alone you would become malnourished and eventually die

  17. A little food is better than no food, but, you cannot survive on bread and water alone. Your system would shut down sooner or later from not getting the proper nutrients.

  18. i say yes

    its unhealthy but you can.....

  19. You could survive without the bread and water alone, as long as you take vitamins.
