Question:

Can you swim (exercise) with a broken toe?

I was told that I cannot walk/jog for about a month because I broke my toe and do not want to get lax on the cardio. I was wondering if swimming will aggravate the injury? What about the stationary bike, that seems like it would be okay?

If you can tell me if these are fine thank you, and others recommendations would be appreciated.

  1. I would guess swimming and bike are ok, but you should really ask your doctor.

That's probably going to be it for cardio. I'm sure you can do all kinds of weights/ strength machines. Why not try that for a change??

  2. The worst part about a broken toe is there is not a whole lot you can do about it - just wrap it as best as you can & do your normal routine as best as you can - a week or 2 you won't feel it at all...
