  1. Absolutely AND, you don't need to use a tampon.  

    The reality of not using a tampon is this ... The pressure of the water is greater than the pressure of the menstrual flow. That means that, as long as you're in the water, no blood can come out. AND as long as after you get out of the water you get to the changing room quickly, there is not enough time for the menstrual blood to come out ... QUICKLY is the operative term. You need not run, but you can't waste time, either.

  3. Of course you can! As long as you have the proper protection - tampons. Do not even think of swimming with pads in because that is so unsanitary. But go ahead do not let the period control your life

    You would usually just wear a tampon but if you aren't there yet, you CAN swim a little while and not worry about it. My friends mom told me that when you jump into cold water, it stops a little while. Seriously, a few drops of blood in a big pool isn't gonna make much of a difference.
