  1. you can not swim with a prosthetic that has lots of metal or electronic parts. A mioelectric arm for example or an every day prosthetic knee.

    You can swim with a passive arm or swim arm or a water proof swim leg.

    Arm amps can get a passive socket where they can attach many devices for different sporting activities. A curved hand for swimming, a golf device, a device for biking, guitar device. And other devices. If it isn't on the market it can often be custom made.

    The best thing about swim legs is any fabric can be laminated onto them. my swim leg used to have pirate ships, wizards, and dragons on it. My new one is going to be whales and sea turtles.
