Can you swim with a water proof cast on with out sinking?

Depends on the size of the cast and the strength of the swimmer. I wouldn't try to swim with a leg cast from hip to toe but a small arm cast should be fine. The main concern is the padding inside the cast that will start to smell kinda gamy after it has been wet.

If you are a strong enough swimmer you should be able to. There are also flotation devices that you could probably attach to the cast.
