Can you swim with the dolphins at DisneyLand ?

Question

Family plans to vacation at DisneyLand in California before the year is over. Want to know if there is a place there to swim with the dolphins. If so, who has ventured on that journey and what was the experience like ? Thanks !!!

No, there isn't any place to swim... with... dolphins.

If you want to swim with dolphins I would go to Sea World or Marine World (now Discovery Kingdom) but I don't know that they do that anymore either.

But Disneyland doesn't really have anything swim at.

But you do get quite wet on some rides.

By the way, tips for that... if you are going to California Adventures, and you go on the water rapids, don't sit by the stair, but you WILL get soaked on that ride.

And at Disneyland don't sit in the very front of Splash Mountain, you will also get drenched. And on the of the tracks on the Matterhorn, you will also get pretty wet.

haha, so you know.

No swimming with dolphins though, sorry.

I don't think there is any place to swim with the dolphins on the Disneyland Property. Your best bet is at Sea World, which is about 1hr to 90 mins south of Disneyland. Seaworld has a trainer for a day program. You deffinatly need to make reservations for that, I would make it at least 2 months in advance.

At Sea World in San Diego you can get in the tanks and swim with them but it is expensive and is a little bit of a journey away from Disneyland, but if it is worth it then I would go to Sea Worlds web site at look at the animal Interactions then to Dolphin Interaction Program and you can find the info there. It is about $160.00 ages 6 and up and you reserve a time, right now the are booking 8/6/2008 so it is not that much advance. If you want the trainer for the day then it is $545.00 for a Participant and $200.00 for observer and you have to have at least one paticipant in the party.  Hope this helps you and here is the web site, http://commerce.4adventure.com/eStore/sc...
