Because my teeth are very ugly. i have like a huge overbite. i would use regular braces but i don't want my high school graduation picture to have me with braces but i also don't want to have ugly teeth. and i know that i don't have time to get the regular braces off before my high school graduation. i'm about to start school for my junior year.

  1. just get braces no1 cares and invisalign costs extra if i recall correctly

  2. I do believe if you switch in the middle you will be paying all over again,  but if you can afford it,  it's an option.

There are some orthodontists that will remove and then put your braces back on for the day you get your pictures taken,  but remember again,  they will charge you well for it.

Also remember,  almost all photographers have the ability to erase your braces from the pictures,  so you can get the pictures taken with them on, and they will erase them from the proofs,  again at a charge,  but much less than what your orthodontist will charge.

  3. i think but it would definately put a hole in your parents wallet lol

  4. It would more than double the cost of your case since it would be like starting your case totally over and invisalign is more expensive than traditional braces.

  5. it's deff a waste of money but if you can afford it go for it

  6. You still have a ways to go, but yes, I switched from regular braces to invisalign. Either way, I would bet that your teeth will look a lot better by the time your graduation pictures are taken...you have over a year.  Some kids actually have the front braces taken off for an important picture...it might be cheaper than switching to invisalign.

With invisalign, the changes are still made very slowly, so even though you don't see ugly braces, your crooked teeth still show right through them.

Best/cheapest bet is to smile lighlty and not open your mouth too much. You have over a year to practice.
