Can you sync your "free" music to iPhone?

Question

I get most of my music from Limewire which then I transer to iTunes and put directly on my iPod....but the iPhone is a little tricky. Is it possible to sync these "free downloads" with my iPhone or did they figure out some kind of trick to where you have to buy the songs on iTunes in order to put them on your iPhone??

use windows media player to sync them just drag and drop the same might work for i tunes too though just drag and highlight the lime wire songs and put it on the syncing zone

yes use itunes on mac, if you dont have a mac get one for free from http://www.itreallyisfree.com
