I'm trying to plan my return home from Sorrento and plan on an evening int. flight out ot FCO.

I'm trying to see (w/o hiring someone for 400Euros!!) the best way I can get back to the airport to and make sure I don't miss my flight!

I understand that theres a train from naples to rome but is there one that will take me straight to the airport? If not, any suggestions of best way to get there?

  1. dmx is great

  2. i'm from naples.

from sorrento to naples you can take circumvesuviana (which arrives in naples central station) or traghetto or aliscafo (sea way) to molo beverello or mergellina. in front of mergellina there is the second station "mergellina station".

from the both stations leave trains for rome, eurostar and TAV are the fastes (but TAV leave only from central station)

from termini station (ROME) to FCO the one way is leonardo train straight to fco, it takes 30min for 11€, and it leave each 30min.

theese are the ways to do that.

a straight way from naples to fco... there isn't... sorry.

check the prices and time of trains on www.ferroviedellostato.it or www.trenitalia.it

  3. Hello,

You can take the train to the termini station in Rome and then catch the leonard express to FCO.  The trip from Rome takes about half an hour and the trains come every half hour.  This will be the quickest way.  I believe the cost is 12 euros.  If you catch a cab outside of the station you will pay about 35 euros and it will still take about half an hour.  The advantage to that is you won't have to wait for the train or handle your own luggage.
