Can you take 3 different blood pressure tablets in 1 day.?

Zanadip 20mg...Atacand Plus 16/12.5 mg and Noten 50mg..My father takes these my mind boggles? Prescribed by a doctor or do you think a mistake has been made with medication?

  1. I hope he sees his doctor on a regular basis, and continues to ask if it is still necessary to take all 3.


  2. take your meds exactly as prescribed.  if you have specific questions, contact the doctor.

  3. yes. what he gets was combined therapy. one patient can get different groups of drugs to help with the hypertension. for example- combination of AT2inhibitor with beta blockers

    or  a-blckers with beta blockers.

    diff groups helps in diff way. overdoses of one group is bad therefore combination therapy is the choice.
