  1. Best to leave it at home. I mean you're going 35,000 feet up in the air. What if it explodes from the pressure?

  2. Haha... no you can't take gas at all on the plane. That would be a very big problem. And where in the world do you find a GAS powered hair straightener?

  3. You may take the gas hair straightner with the gas cartridge installed, in your checked luggage, but NO spare butane cartridges.  This is considered a hazardous material by the FAA and enforced by the airlines.

  4. it is pressurised with type of gas (Mike V the lady is right...put a cigarette lighter in front of the nozzle of a body deodorant and press the nozzle....see what happens...).

    back to the question:-

if you are flying from gatwick it is more likely that you will not be allowed to carry any sprays..definitely not in your hand luggage and probably not in your suitcase.

if you are flying from anywhere else, just put the hair spray in your luggage (not hand luggage) and it should be ok......BUT if it not OK..don't panic you will not be treated or taken as you are a terrorist.

I had two cans of beer in my hand luggage, which i had to throw away prior to boarding the plane. in my luggages i had the same amount of beer cans and deodorants, my wife's perfumes and we made our way to my home country...

    enjoy the holiday

  5. You cannot take the gas on the plane at all.  As to whether you can take it on the plane, it is probably up to the TSA staff at the airport.  If they view it as a weapon, then you will be forced to leave it behind.
