Can you take Kalms and Hypericum (St johns wort) at same time?

I have been having bouts of anxiety etc and i am having bloodtest next week for menopausal profile etc but bought the above to help me while waiting does anyone know if i can take the two together

  1. i would take one, not both since both are for the same thing

    maybe try st johns wort one week and kalms another week and see which one works better for you.


  2. Yes you can:

    Kalms Active ingredients: Hops powder 45mg, extract of valerian from 135mg, extract of gentian from 90mg.

    St Johns Wort increases serotonin.  Hops induces sleep, valerian contains natural Gaba which is a sedative and Gentian is a relaxant (but more useful as a digestive aid).  

    I caution against using more than one supplement/drug that increases serotonin, because too much is not good, but that is not the case here.  So YES you can take them together.
