Sure why not she didn't get to be a Gov. on looks alone and she's doing better than most.

I dont believe most people in this country care if they were a beauty pagent contestant or not.  I know that matters nothing to me.  Its all the accomplishments shes made and also her sincerity.

Personally, I think that dealing with a group of female contestants in a beauty pageant is excellent training for dealing with Senators and Congressmen.  In all groups you find far too many narcissists who believe the world owes them something yet have never accomplished a single thing in their lives.  

You have to give kudos to a woman who develops a rich, full, and useful life after being a beauty contestant.  There's a woman who knows that what she has to offer the world comes from inside her.

I can't think why being a contestant disqualifies her for being a VP. She was the mayor and she has a lot of local experience. It doesn't mean you can't have beauty and brains.

I certainly agree she doesn't have enough experience for a VP, she's hardly ever stepped foot outside her village. However being a contestant is not one of them. Locally she is very popular, which would mean at least for them she is doing a great job. She certainly took on the boys proving she does have the capability.

Whether she can be any use for McCain I doubt it!
