Can you take a bottle of Vanilla Extract on an Airplane (Checked Baggage) ?

The bottle is 500ml and I want to take it on checked baggage.

  1. Yes, but put it inside a plastic bag in case it breaks.  You

    would never get it out of all your clothes....


  2. Be careful though, ive seen how checked luggages been handled, theyre like pizza dough thrown in the air and goodluck with the landings:)

    anyways, you may want to declare that there is something fragile  in your luggage so that they can put a sticker notifying that its FRAGILE but im not sure whether they really read it...

    for safety you may want to wrap it in crumpled newspaper then place it in a plastic wrap. The paper will absorb the shock and the plastic will prevent it from spilling if it case your bottle breaks for whatever reason. Place it somewhere in the middle for added safety...

    im sure that vanilla extract will go to something yummy so goodluck:)

  3. depends what you decide to put into the bottle.  plus, why would you need vanilla extract while you're on the plane? did you hear about the new york woman who got tackled because of contact solution, she's suing for 10 million.
