  4. The only place in England to which you can sail from Dublin is Liverpool. P&O Ferries and Norfolk Line both travel this route. The journey takes about eight hours. An alternative is to travel to Holyhead in Wales by Irish Ferries or by Stena Line. They both have fast ferries which only take about ninety minutes as well as conventional ferries which take about three hours.
