  1. sail across  but you both could swim it for charity... the cart hire one when you arrive  lol

  2. Skidderback, i am very sure that you do not know that eurostar goes from england to france, i very much hope that you are not suggesting he swims with his horse across the channel.

Anyway i doubt you can take a horse and cart on eurostar seeing as it is a passenger only train, if you mean eurotunnel (the train that carries cars) then cheak out their website. I  can't be sure. =)

  3. You can't take the horse on the Eurostar it's a passanger train. You can ttake it on the Euro tunnal the car one. But I woukldn't becasue of the noise of the train and the fumes from the cars and the train

  4. Are you in London?  There's an agent who might help in Horseferry Road W.1.

  5. only if its an orniment....

  6. I would doubt it, it would be a concern that the horse would get stressed and caused lots of damage.

Best contact Eurostar. But they will probably tell you the horse is exempt from travel.

  7. I doubt it but have you checked their website.

  8. Defiantly 1 way, to France only

  9. Eurostar is people only, dogs are allowed under special conditions, (maybe guidedogs only,) bigger animals are certainly not allowed.

Luggage has to fit in the luggage spaces near the doors, carts do not fit.

I think your best bet is to contact the ferry companies, but I expect that you can only transport horses with them in special horse carrier trucks or trailers. And then only when all paperwork is taken care of.

I do ride trains, as passenger, and I would not like to do that to any horse. Much to bumpy rides.

(But it is the Shuttle, run by the company Eurotunnel, http://www.eurotunnel.com/ukcp3main that is the one transporting the cars across the channel.)

The site of this company does state: "Horses and other land mammals

Not currently accepted on the Eurotunnel service."

  10. Yes but with a couple of restrictions first of all the horse must be fluent in french and like onions, it must also be able to be converted to a left hand drive horse as soon as you arrIve. Hope this answers your question. Au Revior

  11. Only if there is a z in the day.

  12. With high fuel prices and expensive train travel, why not just have the horse and buggy take ya where you're goin'?
