Hi ive just had notice that the two courses i signed up for at my local college has no room for me due to funding constraints ( i was entiteled to reduced fees because my salary is so low that i qualify for benefits.)

i was given the option of paying full fees but i just dont have the money, i therefore cant afford distance learning courses for the same reason . i am wondering if you can teach yourself using the sylabus and then just enter for the exams?

  1. Yes

You do it by asking your local authority to sponsor you for the exam.

Apply to their education dept and they will enrol you and notify you nearer the time of the exam arrangementts.

Some, though not all, local authoriites may charge a small administration fee.
