Can you take burnt dvd's on air planes?

i was wondering if anyone knows if it is illagle to take burnt dvd on air planes? i picked my mom up from the air port and now she is head back to W.A. and i was wondering is it alright if i give her some burnt dvd. yes they are movies and all no not home yes riped. but dose any one think they will check her. give your answer please.

Yes you can take them on planes along w. your portable dvd player. It's not illegal.

Yes, she can take them. But really- it's illegal to pirate and steal music and movies. You shouldn't do that.
