  1. Yes he can..........they work two totally different ways. Cyclobenzaprine is ( generic for Flexeril) which is a muscle relaxer...so actually it is not even in the same class as a "pain reliever" ....If he needs calcium supplements then I would think that would work well in his daily regimen fine...(with first morning meals taken maybe 30 minutes to 1 hour apart from cyclobenzaprine dose) to be sure not to upset his stomach...not to mention the cyclobenzaprine will slow his digestion...I DO ADVISE  that you call your pharmacist for further advice if he takes other meds...Additionally if he takes antacids or chews like "Rolaids or Tums" do not combine these with the calcium supplements program without consulting his physician.( They are calcium supplements)..The side effect from the muscle relaxer-cyclobenzprine could be (bowel) irregularity...the tablet form of most calcium supplements has Vitamin D added, This helps "escort" the Calcium through the body and assists with more efficient absorption...If he has any stomach pain or disorder be sure to consult his doctor/nurse for callback advise..ASAP..Hope this helps!!!!!!...Best wishes to you & your Father...Take Care.
