  1. There is no contraindications between the 2. And if there was, your doctor or pharmacist should have already informed you of it.

  2. Nope you should be fine.  I looked them up in two professional pharmacy databases I have access to and both said there were no drug-drug interactions between the two.

    Good Luck!!

  3. From what I read in the information below, they are not contraindicated for each other. If you are still unsure then I suggest you ask your pharmacist.

What should I avoid while taking Lexapro?

Do not take Lexapro together with citalopram (Celexa), isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate). Avoid drinking alcohol, which can increase some of the side effects of Lexapro.

Avoid using other medicines that make you sleepy (such as cold medicine, pain medication, muscle relaxers, medicine for seizures, other medication for depression or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by Lexapro.

Lexapro can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Cefaclor should be avoided by patients with known allergy to cephalosporin type antibiotics. Since cefaclor is chemically related to penicillin, an occasional patient can have an allergic reaction (sometimes even anaphylaxis) to both medications. Treatment with cefaclor and other antibiotics can alter the normal bacteria flora of the colon and permit overgrowth of C. difficile, a bacteria responsible for pseudomembranous colitis. Patients who develop pseudomembranous colitis as a result of antibiotics treatment can experience diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, and sometimes even shock. Probenecid may increase the blood levels of cefaclor. Cefaclor is used by children, even though safe use of this medication in infants have not been established. Cefaclor is not habit forming.
