details: I'm getting a new iPod but I have videos on my iPod that aren't in my library. I want them on my new iPod. Is there a way to copy those files and put them on my Desktop (or something) so that I can easily transfer them to my new iPod. If there is an easier way then do tell =]

  1. No you can not do that I have tried like a thousand times and it would not let me!!!!

  2. Plug the ipod into the computer open itunes click on your ipod select enable disk use click apply exit itunes open my computer click on your ipod and your files should be in one of those folders and when you find it drag and drop it into the itunes library.  : )

  3. The Ipod uses the standard MP4 file format for video files.   Many electronics such as cell phones, mp3's and hand held gaming devices use this format for videos because the files are very compact and effecient.    Luckilly there are a variety of conversion software out there to convert your movies, or various clips, such as clips from Utube into mp4.

My favorite company for creating these programs is Videora.  They created such programs as PSPVideo9, but the program You are interested in is their Ipod Converter.  It is free and here is the link to  download the program.  It has no spyware or malware so feel free to transfer all your cd's, or videos into mp3's and video's into mp4!!!!   http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/i...

If you want to download and watch Utube Videos, Try a website called Vixy.net.  It will convert any Utube video into mp4 so you can put it on your ipod and show it to your friends!  Best of all with Vixy.net you don't have to install any programs so there is no spyware or malware!!!  The website should explain in detail how to use it, but it is pretty easy!!!

    Hope that helps,

    Jer

  4. Yes you can.

There are many programs that could do this. But they are not very reliable and sturdy. (they crashed halfway through)
