Can you take digital cameras and ipods in airplanes?

cameras and i-pods are almost always allowed on airplanes.  Because of that, the x ray machines have scanned many cameras and ipods and none of them have been damaged.  You might not be allowed to use your camera and take pictures with your camera on the flight, due to the flash, but you are allowed to take your camera on the airplane.  I pods are allowed on airplanes and can be used during your flight.  In most planes during landing and take off, you have to turn off all electronic devices, but only for a few minutes.

Yes, you can take your ipod and camera on a plane. You won't be allowed to use any electronic devices for the first couple of minutes when the plane is taking off and again when it is landing. The airplane's crew will let you know when it is ok to use the devices. BTW nothing will happen to either of your devices. Have a fun trip:)

Digital cameras and ipods will not be a problem. The x-ray machine won't affect your digital camera- the rays only affect film. You will even be able to listen to your ipod for part of the flight- they will tell you when it is alright.
