  1. If the DM stands for dextromethorphan then yes. Both affect your brain chemistry, both can easily be abused and they have an additive effect on each other.  

    Plain old mucinex (not DM) should not be a problem.

    But if your taking Xanex you won't have any anxiety over it.  Just a possibility of seizures.
