Can you take out the cable wire out of your modem...?

I have what appears to be a cable wire in my wall that is hooked into my modem. If I turn my computer off, can I take that wire out of my modem and put it into a TV and get cable?

  2. Make it easier on yourself an visit radio shack.  You can get a cable TV splitter and have them both working at all times.

  3. You can ask yiou cable operator or yourself

    connect the cable parallel so that the cable goes to your

    TV as well as your computer always.

    You can use a cable splitter for this which is

    available in Electric/Electronic stores.

    Pulling out cables everytime stresses the cable and

    it might affect the reliability.

  4. You have to order tv service from whoever provides your internet to get tv service when you plug it into your tv.

  5. You Can Try. I don't see why it would not work. That cable may have a filter on it that filters out the tv signal. As far as damage goes I don't know.
