Can you take psilocybin out of shrooms?

and just take that as a physcadelic, istead of the accual mushroom?

if so how?

It has been done before but you would require lab equipment that most don't have access to.

Robert Gordon Wasson visited Maria Sabina, Mazatec healer, curandera, and Shaman. A native of Huautla de Jimenez, in the State of Oaxaca, Mexico.

He took samples of mushrooms and someone (I can't remember who) extracted psilocybin and they were then in pill form.

He returned to Mexico and gave Maria a bottle of the pills and they completed a mushroom ceremony using the pills and not the mushrooms.

Basically it's not worth it. You get the same (if not better) experience with the mushroom.

Considering it's a class A (or schedule 1) you would really go down for a long time if you attempted to do the same thing today.

Unfotunately Maria has now died. Although she is responsible for showing the mushroom to the West, it was also her down fall and literally ruined her life.
