Can you take snack onto the airplane? like a few crackers or something?

my friend told me that security according to the website does not allow drinks AND food etc through security. I have flown a lot in the past but it has been a year, so is that true? or can I bring something? i know liquids is a complete no, but what about snacks? thanks, i am leaving tomorrow morning for germany with my best friend and I just want to make sure I can take my sour patch kids with me ;) hahahahhahaha

You make take foods, as long as they are not liquid or have liquid or even a gel substance....you could not take pre-packaged cups of Jell-O, but your candy should be OK...you can even take beverages on that you buy AFTER you get through security gates...just keep your receipt, just in case they should question whether you snuck it on or bought it...

When I was last in Paris, the shop wouldn't even sell me food until I showed them my boarding pass, which I thought was silly...

yeah you can like crackers cookies chips and pretzels so yeah just put it in your hand bag its ok by the way nice question.

You can take beverages on the plane, too, but you just have to buy them in the airport, you can't bring them in from outside.

you can bring any snacks or drinks as long as you got it past security at one of the airport shops or vendors. no security won't let food or drinks past but there are shops and vendors after you past security.

You can't bring food from your house onto the plane unless it weights in at under 3 oz (approximately 4 crackers).  However, after you clear security, you can buy food from those shops and bring it on the plane.  So just wait and buy your sour patch kids at the airport AFTER you're finished the security screenings =)
