Can you take the PSAT in your junior year?

What time of the year do you take it?

You can take them in October of your Sophomore and Junior year. If your school does not offer them on a specified Wednesday, you'll have to sign up to take them outside of school on a Saturday.

Also, Junior Year is the only time that you can be selected as a national merit scholar. If you are one of the top 1000 scorers in your state, scoring about a 220+ you have a pretty good shot of being a finalist.
