I am going on holiday on Sunday 23 July.

Face powder

Concealer (stick and liquid)

Deoderant

Pens

Perscribed(spelling!) acne cream (I don't think it's essential it's just if it gets lost with the suitacases then I will have a back and chest covered in acne for the rest of my holiday, not good lol)

Also once in flight can I turn my phone on to listen to the music on it. Also my MP3 has a radio, will that work whilst flying and if it does will I be allowed to use it.

  1. You are not allowed any liquids inexess of 100mL in hand luggage. In the underneath anything can really go in there. No you can not turn your phone on once flying as it can interfere with teh communication systems and the radio will not work.

  2. The answers you've gotten so far are pretty much on target.

Liquids are indeed limited to 100ml per item, and note: that means the container is no larger than that. You won't get a 200ml bottle through just because it only has 50ml in it. All the containers must be put in ONE one-quart or smaller clear plastic sealable bag, which you take OUT of your carry-on and put through the x-ray separately.

Most - maybe all these days - cell phones have an "airplane" mode where the radio components are turned off so you can use other functions, like playing MP3s, games, etc. You CAN have that turned on during flight, just not for takeoff and landing. Ditto for separate MP3 players, etc., but you may not turn on the radio receiver (which probably wouldn't do anything for you, anyway.)

    Have fun on your holiday.

  3. You can take liquid concealer, deodorant, acne cream if it's 3 oz. or smaller. You can take pen and face powder. No, you are not allowed to turn your phone on.
