  1. I wouldn't recommend it. 98% of the calcium in your body is found in your bones. In fact, calcium is the most abundant mineral in your body. If your bones loose more calcium than they take in, you can lose bone mass and weaken your bone structure. Calcium orotate (because of its unique molecular structure) possesses the ability to penetrate bones, cartilage, and other tissue more effectively than regular calcium to help promote the recalcification of your skeleton.

look into intracal. Any natural calcium would be ok as long as it is an orotate.

  2. NO..its not a complete calcium ,you need like 100 diff versions of calcium in your diet ,,and this is a crappy for in an antacid ..which is harmful to take everyday

  3. Yes

    says so on the bottle

  4. I wouldn't.  It decreases stomach acid and you need stomach acid to kill germs and digest food well enough to release nutrients.

  5. Yes, but check with your doctor first before starting to take it.

  6. I wouldn't recommend it.

You could take a combination of calcium citrate and magnesium, vitamin D, strontium( a mineral) and silica(silicon). Green leafy vegetables unless you are on blood thinners like coumadin, fresh squeezed organic carrot juice, and of course good weightbearing exercise.

  7. Yes, but I wouldn't. The product is promoted as a calcium supplement and I even know one poor woman whose M.D. told her to do it. But it is calcium CARBONATE, an antacid. It slows the digestive process which is fine for temporary relief of occasional indiscreet eating.

For everyday calcium supplementation, you need an acid for the best absorption of minerals. That's why most health practitioners recommend calcium CITRATE. It works best in a liquid form. I like Natural Vitality's Natural Calm Plus Calcium, a powder you mix with water. It is 3 parts calcium and 2 parts magnesium, plus C, D and Boron for best assimilation.

  8. yes, you can but do know that too much calcium isn't good for you so just take one kind of calcium suppliment in addition to your normal diet

  9. Of course you can.

(Again, lots of thumbs down from poorly educated alties.)

  10. Yes you can, but i would not recommend a terrible product like this. It contains Calcium Carbonate ( Poor Calcium source ), sucrose (sugar) - which weakens your immune system, pro-inflammatory and other nutritional badies.

Calcium Citrate Malate is the most bioavailable vegetarian form.

Calcium Bis-Glycinate is 21% more absorbable than Calcium Citrate Malate. Lactose increases the absorption of Calcium so you could take your supplement with a little bit of milk to improve absorption.

Take calcium on a little and often basis.
