I am ready to transfer, but I missed the deadline. I don't want to not go to school, so I am trying to take some of my upper-division classes at my local community college. Is that possible? Am I going to have to retake them when I transfer? Can anyone help me?

  1. Sorry, but no.  Community colleges only offer lower-division classes, so you can't take your upper division classes there at all.  If you missed the transfer deadline, you may have to wait a semester before starting at a 4-year college.

  2. Missed the deadline for what?  Most schools let you apply for admission and enroll in classes up to a week after classes have started.

No, upper division classes aren't offered at community colleges.  Find a school that will let you in.. unless you are going to MIT or Harvard of something, a local regional state school should let you in.
