  1. If you're bringing them from the UK and have the necessary paperwork, it should be okay.

I don't know about the US, I think that they may have to be quarantined. Contact the Irish embassy in your country for more information.

  2. ya i seen alot of people with dogs in ireland when i went i dont see why not

  3. yeah but they will obviously have to go into a kennel thing to maske sure they dont have any diseases, i cant remember the name of it!

speak to your dentist for advise!

  4. This depends where you are traveling from.

If you are traveling from the United Kingdom to the Republic of Ireland then your friend's two dogs can travel without the need of blood tests, vaccinations, a pet passport etc as there is free movement for pets travelling directly between the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

If you are traveling to the Republic of Ireland from outside of the United Kingdom then your friends dogs must meet the requirements of the PETS scheme.

    These requirements are outlined below.

  5. Yes, as long as they have passports and proof that they're up to date with their shots.

  6. Of course.  Just make sure their vaccinations / worming etc up to date and get a pet passport.

  7. probably a bad idea with the foot and mouth or the cases off blue tongue that have been found around england these past number off weeks

  8. yes take them we do not want them here

  9. There are no problems if you are bringing from Britain or the North. This is the so-called 'Common Travel Area', and you won't need a passport yourself either (unless the airline needs it).

As for bringing them from outside the CTA, visit http://www.movetoireland.com/movepag/pet... for a good article.

  10. No, theres no dogs allowed in ireland, they're illegal!

    :P

  11. i dont see why not

  12. of course you can

if want to check go to the irish tourist board

  13. I would speak to your vet about the vaccinations that are needed for travel, and you have to get permission and regulations from the airlines prior to the departure date. Also I would try to find out any information from Ireland too.
