Can you take your written test and your road test on the same day with the DMV in Connecticut?

Im trying to obtain my license before August 1st to avoid the new law about the whole waiting a year before carrying friends but my problem is my 4 months are over on July 27 and i cant take it with my current driving school on time so I have to go through the DMV. Ive heard that you take the written test on one day and then take your road test later. In my case thats too late and it will be past august 1st so im wondering if i can schedule an appointment to have the written and road test on the same day. Any help would be great.

Probably not. In WV (where I live) you have to wait a certain amount of time between tests, like 6 months. The only way to take both tests on the same day is if you've had your license before in WV.
