Can you tape shows from Dish DVR onto vidio tapes?

Question

We had to cancel our satellitte with DISH Network but want to continue to watch the shows we taped on our DVR. We tried hooking our video player to our tv and while watching a show, put in a blank video tape and pushed the record button. When we go to watch it, the tape is still blank. Any ideas?

set ur vcr too channel 3    dont use audio/video cables    should record  wacth the whole movie too record it

RCA out from dish reciever to RCA in on VCR. Unfortunatley you have to play the whole movie to record it, But it will work.
