  1. that would be TOO!!! painful just removing your nail

    and getting a tattoo done

that part of your skin is very sensitive

you would be bleeding the whole time while you get the tattoo

it can be expose to bacteria

    so i wouldn't recommend it

  2. there is no way!!!!!!!! trust me

    that would hurt.....

  3. ouch!!!!

no i don't think so, people get the white of their eyes tattooed. um.

    under your nail WOULD HURT!!!!

  4. tattoo your nail?

    never heard of it lol

but to tattoo under your nail

they would have to tear open your nail

    && duhh it would hurt!!

  5. um i don't think so

  6. under? wtf...

  7. well thats pretty gross.

under the nail? i guess they would have to rip your nail off, puncture the tender skin under your removed nail with needles that filled the skin with ink, then wait for the new nail to grow back, with the skin open to get infected.

    sounds rational

  8. it would seem pointless under the nail.

i guess to do it your nail would have to be removed, tatooed under it, then let it grow back. you wouldnt see it though.

    as for the nail...uh no.

    dumb

  9. its very rare to find an artist who will do this but the answer is yes, it can be done. some people who have had an accident causing their nail to come off or get ripped off etc get a tattoo done before the nail grows back.

it is also possilbe to tattoo on the nail, it is quite a good idea for a tattoo because it wouldnt hurt and as long as the artist doesnts tattoo right through the nail it will grow out with your nail

  13. You cannot tattoo your nail itself. Even if you did, it would grow out with the nail. The skin underneath the nail, I guess you could... But let me ask, have you ever lost a fingernail or toenail? I crushed my big toe in an accident at sea a few years ago, and the nail rotted off. I mean to say it rotted and peeled off. It stank like f*** and the PAIN!! Wearing steel caps was not fun, I can tell you! Now, I sat through getting my foot, ankle and calf tattooed this Monday, and though my knuckles were white after an hour and a half, it was very bearable. The thought of tattooing under a nail actually makes me wanna spew. I suggest you get a tattoo elsewhere before you try that!!

  14. It is possible to tattoo both the nail itself and under the nail on the nail bed... But I don't know anyone that would try under the nail, this would be very risky and painful to say the least.

Tattooing the nail surface can be done and I have done it many times. Its painless and temporary since the designs grow out with the nail but still longer lasting than most manicures/pedicures.

the process is very similar to getting a tattoo on skin, uses the same equipment to etch the design into the nail, and once the design is in place the nail is cleaned and the design is sealed in with a clear coat of nail polish. The only sensation you feel is the vibration of the needle, somewhat like the vibration and scratching of a nail buffing machine that most manicurists use.

Hope this info was helpful to you.
