Can you teach a guinea pig to do tricks?

If you can, what tricks and how do you teach them?

Yes, my guinea pig knows how to sit! It's really adorable and a simple trick to teach.

All you need is a small treat like a carrot. Put it in front of the piggie's nose and lift it back over her head. She will follow by sitting up and reaching. It may take a couple of tries for her to get comfortable, and watch out not to do it too fast or too far back. But once the guinea pig knows what to do, it's very entertaining.

i have not seen anything about guinea pigs doing tricks but if i do i will do this again and tell u where to go ok hope that will help in the furter

My guinea pigs can do (simple) tricks :)

my guinea pigs know how to get around the house and to their cage.

My guinea pigs they go up the stairs. put ur pig at the bottom step of the stairs and get his attention, tap the stair or something so he's looking up at the stair then pat his but and he'll starting hoping up. at first they need help going up, but they'll get the hang of it.

My guinea pigs also know how to jump up on my bed wen I ask them to.

Also, hold a treat up and they'll stand on 2 legs.

I also made a small tower with containers and boxes and blocks and stuff and I put a treat at the top so my guinea pig climbed it to get the treat.

I also heard they can do "circles". there's a video on youtube for it and on the side where it has the info about it, it tells you how to teach them.

You can teach guinea pigs almost anything...they just have to learn!

My guinea pig does circles. You just hold the treat next to his face and make him follow it around in a circle (always go the same direction) and say "circle, circle, circle, circle, circle" until he does the whole circle. Give him a bite of treat and say "good (name of pig)". keep doing it. My one pig learned this in one sitting. Now I show him the treat, tell him "do a circle" and then he does it and he gets the treat. Sometimes he forgets so I say "circle, circle, circle..." until he remembers and starts doing it.

I started trying this with another one of my pigs yesterday...not working yet. The trick (for us people) I think is that the pig has to be really comfortable with you. Eats out of your hand, etc. Not afraid some other pig is gonna come up and snatch his food while he's doing the circle.

I have seen videos on You Tube about guinea pigs that can be taught to turn circles or beg.
