you can buy a kit with everything you need to build a rolling chassis, usually minus electronics like the radio system and motor. those two sites are my personal favorites, but if you hunt a little, you can definitely find others.

Depends on what you want it to do. is it onroad, offroad or both? Use the Chassis of a toy car or a cheaprc car. radio gear is the more expensive thing that u need. You can get it cheap off trade me or something.
