Can you tell how long something has been for sale on Ebay?

I want to know how long the item I'm looking at has been up for sale, just out of curiosity. Not when the bidding will end, but when it began. Is there any way to tell?

I don't think you can! Items in an auction or fixed price can be listed for 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days. Some people have an ebay shop and can list items for  30 days and it will automatically relist once the 30 days have finished. These items are less likely to show up in your searches though.
