  1. sorry dude don't have one.....................and never heard of a hampster

  2. ya cant. sometimes not even by size.

  3. cut in half and count the rings

  4. whats a hampster?

  5. I am not sure you can know that, maybe by it's teeth (because hamster's teeth get yellower every day and they obviously grow more every day) But it's hard. I have a hamster, and the only birth information I know from my beautiful hamster Lilly is that she was born in October 2007. There may be a  way (like the one from the turtles that you count the spots on their shell) but I am not sure about it. Look for it in google or animalplanet.com

  6. I don't think you can. But if you got it from Petco I would guess it is young. There's no way to tell for certain. I'm assuming it's a Syrian as that's what most pet stores sell. Please correct me if I'm wrong though. :) Syrians generally live for 2 years or so, but I have seen them live for about three. Different breeds live different lengths of time. They are weaned at about 3-6 weeks old (or should be, but pet stores don't always do so), so it should be older than that. If the hamster doesn't have any health problems, is lively and can easily climb and run around, keeps itself clean etc. then it is likely under a year old.
