Oh yeah, TV! Watching one moronic show after another interspersed with all those dreadful commercials.   Now we have the computer, which can be a wonderful learning tool, but is also a time waster.   Reading trashy books will do it too.   Your brain needs to be stimulated, needs new ideas, new challenges.

An example of brain drain would be a lot of smart people from country A going to country B because there are more job opportunities, or better universities in country B.
