Can you tell me about 4 thing about cool Japan houses?

~Yeah, so if you can inform me about Japan houese I'm trying to write a report on the houses in Japan+ I want visit their and don't want to look like a "Stupid American" even know I am American just don't want to look stupid. Bla bla bla. So yeah it you could be a really rad person and help me out??

1.the toilette shower. i dont know if you also have that one in the US.

2. Kotatsu, its a table and its really warm inside. you can put your feet inside it. every japanese house have one..

3. Dont use sleepers when you are in a Tatami room, its a room with floor made from tatami mats. or they call it Japanese style room.
