  1. I homeschool my 3 boys and I had them use Time 4 Learning -- it was ok.  But geared towards the young -- if I had to use it over I would not have.

  2. it's 19.99 a month

I do like it, and so does my son. it is flexible (he's working at a first grade level in Math, 2nd/3rd in reading) and the presentation (flash animation with animal characters) keeps him engaged. They offer Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. they have state testing practice, as well.

I wouldn't recommend using only T4L, but it's a good thing to include in a homeschooling curriculum, along with lots of hands on learning and quality children's lit.

  3. I have a friend who is using Time 4 Learning as a supplement for her children.  It has been fairly self teaching and her children really enjoy it.

It is not expensive and requires a monthly fee of around $19.99.

If you are going to use this or any other computer based program, I would recommend supplementing the curricula with fun books and projects in order to keep your children interested in learing.

Here is some information on the pros and cons of computer based homeschooling:

    Hope this helps!
