Can you tell me about this cable?

Can you tell me is this cable will give true HD quality or is it just so u can use HDMI capable things through DVI and you would just have DVI quality?

HDMI is the best.   If you go through DVI you are most likely only going to have DVI quality (which is still pretty good).  But for true Hi Def, You will need a Hi Def capable TV, Hi Def capable reciever (or DVD player, or video game machine such as XBox 360 or Playstation 3) and HDMI cords.
