For a science project, can you tell me an animal with an a**s near it's mouth?

Can you tell me the full name of the animal?

The closest I can give you is the starfish.

It's a**s is it's mouth though.

The one I know about is very familiar to America ichtyologist and fisheries biologist.  The pirate perch.

A sea star's a**s is not it's mouth.  It has an a**s on its aboral surface.

However, sea anemones and entoprocts (they're named appropriately) use the same opening.  Ascidians have separate openings, but they are close together.

Owls also create pellets of bones and fur that they regurgitate.  But they also have another opening for waste.
